Eric Tompkins is a guitarist living in Prince George, British Columbia. He's a highly versatile musician capable of playing music for any occasion - weddings, banquets, clubs parties. He works either solo or with other musicians, e.g., solo classical guitar, jazz trio or quartet, seven piece swing band, or exotic ethnic music. His music - whether it's country blues or modern jazz - is performed with warmth and passion. He is available for gigs in and around the Prince George area, however, a road trip is always a possibility.
Recently, he has been performing with a Persian singer by the name of Neda Jalali. Together they formed Navaz, a duo that features jazz, Latin and Persian music. Though most of the time they take gigs as a duo, about once a month they expand to include trumpet, sax, bass and drums.
